America’s Credit Union Celebrates Generosity at America’s Service Heroes Scholarship Donor Recognition Event

Lacey, WA – America’s Credit Union (ACU) proudly participated in the America’s Service Heroes Scholarship Donor Recognition event at Saint Martin’s University. This event celebrated the endowed scholarship fund, which provides crucial financial assistance to military service members and their families, supporting their educational and professional aspirations through Saint Martin’s University extension campus programs.

The event featured a special unveiling ceremony to honor the generous contributions of Debbie Hodous and Richard “Doc” Hecker.

J. Grossman warmly welcomed and thanked all attendees, including ACU representatives Philip Prothero, David Hughes, Pat Geiger (representing Debbie Hodous), as well as Cruz Arroyo, President Brownsberger, Sean Campbell, and Jorge Castillon-Sierra. President Brownsberger expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support of Debbie Hodous, America’s Credit Union, Major Richard B. Hecker, and others, emphasizing the shared mission of supporting veterans and their families in their educational pursuits.

Phil Prothero highlighted the scholarship’s profound impact on military-affiliated students, while Pat Geiger spoke on behalf of his spouse, Debbie Hodous, about her pride in establishing the scholarship and her commitment to supporting military families.

Sean Campbell, the most recent scholarship recipient, shared his experiences and the significance of the scholarship in his academic journey. J. Grossman concluded the event by graciously thanking all attendees for their continued support and dedication to the cause.
